My client is a leading Top 100 brand with a very different ethos which transfers to the way the business functions and the day to day experience of the lawyers within it. In this instance they're building a premium quality team focusing exclusively on a high quality stream of work which will necessitate delivery of a top class level of service to discerning clients. Residential Conveyancing instructions will be sourced from across the UK, to be handled efficiently but properly priced to reflect the service delivered. Typical property values will be £500K-£5million, this is upper market work.
Suitable candidates should have upwards of two years experience in Residential Conveyancing and should be comfortable with sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold property. IT skills are important but this team has a bespoke IT system as a key tool for their offering. Solicitor, ILEX or experienced fee earners will be considered.
Client skills are essential - you'll have phone and video call communication with clients, and you'll be proactively communicating to them as opposed to fire fighting. This will be possible by having a compact personal caseload and ample time to service it in regular office working hours.
Late nights and weekend work are not expected here, it is not the model. You'll be expected in the office five days a week because that's the level of team work and collaboration required, but there is practical consideration for your life circumstances and your working hours will be very much contained… when you expect to be leaving work you will be leaving! It should be as favourable a work-life balance as is possible in Residential Conveyancing work.
