My client is a decent sized commercial firm, based in Leeds but serving a national client base. Their core Commercial team is well resourced at a relatively junior level but they want to recruit someone who'll bridge the gap to the Partner. An Associate (4+PQE) or Senior Associate is most likely a good fit, such that you'll be able to manage matters with light supervision, but also be able to offer some guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Technical skills should include a range of commercial matters, including supply and purchase contracts, soft intellectual property, IT agreements, and e-commerce and data protection compliance, as well as more standard contractual documentation.
You'll want client contact, and will also be encouraged to develop your own network of contacts and get involved in the firms initiatives to raise profile. A 5 day/week engagement would be ideal but the firm can consider different arrangements and are happy to discuss. The firm operates a hybrid working pattern of 3 days attendance per week.
