My client is an established firm with a central Harrogate office focused very much on private client, family law and conveyancing matters, these being sourced from North Yorkshire, Leeds, the North East, and also much further afield due to the longstanding reputations of the senior lawyers.
In residential conveyancing they're offering an attentive, accountable and client-service led approach, they've plenty of work flowing and strong relationships with local agents and referrers.
They're looking for a capable fee earner for a mixed caseload of sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, and some smaller residential new build work. Ideally you'd have upwards of 5 years experience so you'd be super-confident of your technical skills on arrival, but someone with 2 years or more practical experience will be considered in merit.
You'll work alongside the current Team Leader, in a properly structured team including a number of Assistants in support. In the medium term it is hoped there'll be a gradual handover of the leadership of the unit so this represents a substantial career opportunity for someone to really knit themselves into the firm.
There will be some scope for hybrid working but the majority of your time will probably be office based given the need to work with colleagues and ultimately to be visible and available for provision of guidance to others.
A following is not needed as there are referrer relationships already in place. However you will be expected to foster relationships locally and will be encouraged to involve yourself in the profile raising activities of the team.
