Leeds law firm, and Florit Brooke client, Shulmans has recently nudged turnover up over £10m in its latest full-year results.
In a national law firm survey conducted by The Lawyer magazine, the firm was listed as being one of the top ten biggest risers by turnover in the whole of the UK.
Shulmans is the fastest rising law firm in Yorkshire and the North East and in the top five fastest risers in England, in the ‘101-20’0 section of the UK Top 200 ‘independent’ solicitors firms. The firm posted its fifth year of double digit growth, and grew by 22.7 per cent in 2014/15, from £8.8m to £10.8m, and is reported to be on track to achieve around 15 per cent growth again for 2015/16, as at the mid-year point.
Insider reports Tim Halstead, Shulman’s managing partner, as confirming: “The past five years has been a period of outstanding growth. We smashed our five year, 50 per cent growth target we set ourselves in 2010 in only three years; in 2015 we made £3.58m profit on £10.8m turnover with and we fully expect our turnover in 2016 to hit over £12m.
The Lawyer magazine stated that “for any firm with a clear growth strategy, decisive leadership and the ability to differentiate itself the UK market for the past 10 years has been a land of opportunity”.
As long-standing Leeds based legal recruitment business, we couldn’t agree more and Florit Brooke wishes Tim and everybody at Shulmans continued success.
