Legal recruitment gets a ‘makeover’
Florit Brooke Legal Recruitment is 8 years old this September. We can hardly believe it!
This year, we’re celebrating our birthday by refreshing the ‘look and feel’ of our legal recruitment business and launching a completely new website. It’s a total makeover!
Having now placed over 400 legal people into roles in practice and industry, we’ve achieved a lot for what is still a relatively small business, whose infancy coincided with the toughest economic circumstances in most professionals’ living memory. This is a track record of which we are very proud.
We now act for an ever growing number of major household names. These are ‘high street’ brands as well as a major UK national and international law firms – and all of this from our base in Leeds and Manchester.
On our new website, we’ve refreshed the showcase of clients we’re successfully partnered with. We’ve also incorporated a selection of our latest instructions in the new jobs area of our home page. We’ve expanded the team by introducing coaching as a service for lawyers and we’ve introduced a new and improved ‘news’ section, pulling together the various strands of our own news, market news, and legal job notifications.
Our practice division continues to have a focus on the North of England, close to our roots. This is where our contacts and market knowledge can add the most value. The team will shortly be looking to expand, so Tony and Gemma welcome dialogue with experienced consultants looking to make their mark in a business which is now firmly established as a leading legal recruitment brand in the North.
Aside from still working the Yorkshire, North East and North West legal market regularly, our in-house division now places lawyers into fast moving companies all over the UK. Of late, Andy and Miguel have successfully worked with businesses in London, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Gainsborough, Exeter, Gloucester, Milton Keynes, Warwick and Alnwick.
Our coaches have been selected from both industry and practice for their bespoke 1-2-1 coaching experience. Lisa Richards has worked at HR Director level in substantial companies within the pharmaceuticals and financial services sectors. Ian McIntosh has a legal background, having been an equity partner and divisional head at Addleshaw Goddard. Our coaches are qualified to help individuals with professional and personal challenges.
Relationships that mean more
Although our primary focus is legal recruitment, relationships with Florit Brooke mean far more than that. We help build companies, firms and careers. We believe that, ‘moving’ isn’t necessarily always the right answer. We’d rather focus on you, and your agenda. For us, relationships come before revenue.
…and we’re still “the dogs”
So, whilst we now look very different, we’re still the same business with the very same values – and, as you can see, we’re still “the dogs”!
