Niche construction practice are looking for an additional construction lawyer to join their team in West Yorkshire, ideally that person to have a contentious focus though a mixed caseload can be accommodated. 2020 NQs with relevant experience as a Trainee will definitely be considered on their merits.
The team have one of the best reputations for construction outside the top 5 firms in Leeds and are highly ranked in the Legal 500. They work with a range of OMBS through to Plcs and get plenty of work from London.
A key attraction to this firm is the levels of flexibility afforded to employees through agile work and part-time hours which is often not available in the larger, city centre practices.
The role will be to deal with primarily contentious work, though the composition of caseload can be discussed with a candidate.
They are ideally looking for construction litigator or projects lawyers, but might also consider re-training strong commercial litigation candidates who have a demonstrable interest in a construction career. NQs with a genuine interest in Construction Law are encouraged to apply.
Excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to progress in an exciting specialism with a well-run and friendly firm which can treat you differently from those big firms which are so often the preserve of construction law.
